I still have this on VHS tape. I found it mixed in with some old home movies I was transferring to dvds last week. Talk about a blast from the past! It still played pretty good too.

I had this on VHS when I was a kid. I must have watched it 50 times as a child. I'm glad I was able to watch it on here since it doesn't seem to be available on DVD

Given this dub was handled by Peter Fernandez, it's pretty obvious Corrine Orr does some, if not most of the female characters in this. I think the voice of Aesop is Lionel Wilson. This would also the last of Toei's animated features they use to do quite a lot during the 60's and 70's based on classic literature. Others from the early 80's include "Swan Lake" and "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp".
