Imagine this from the NPC's perspective, it must be hilarious. You have another person who runs up, yells at the walls, screaming "THIS IS DIFFERENT" and then runs in the opposite direction

Imagine just walking through the subway with your briefcase and phone, just trying to get home and you see the same person each time. You never acknowledge them, but you're aware you seem to cross paths consistently. Then, one day, you decide to greet them with a smile and in response to your kind gesture, they do a 180 and walk the other way...

Mark completely and verbally ignoring the posters all the time while yelling what could he possibly be missing is peak comedy
  • @chancematters
Mark at 26:10 : “You’re making this too difficult.” The doorknob in the middle of the door:

The fact that there's a public transportation place not completely packed with people should be an anomaly in itself
  • @bellababs
mark saying "okay last one!" with ten minutes left of the video was a nice way of knowing it was in fact not the last one
  • For those curious about the anomalies he missed and didn't go back to, here you go: 6:57 Door handle in middle of door 12:25 Growing posters 13:59 Security sign eyes moving (he didn't look long enough for them to move but the moving eyes have smaller irises that don't touch the eye border) 14:40 Door handle in middle of door 14:53 Ceiling ghost face (you only briefly see one of its eyes) Anomalies he never saw at all: Yellow floor tile faces Yellow floor tile cross pattern Excessive "No Smoking" signs Middle door open slightly with woman peeking out Ceiling lights askew

33:59 The raw comedic timing of the poster check cannot be understated LOL

I like how 90 seconds into this game, Mark's already lost his mind, calling a totally harmless bystander "Mr. Mustache, Receding Hairline, Phone in Left Hand, Briefcase In Right, No Socks, White Shirt, Black Pants Man."

Mark being so paranoid and still missing massive faces in the ceiling had me dying. The rage was palpable.
  • @tacozilla3889
I like how Mark doesn't have a fight or flight reaction but just reacts with "wow what's this!" then proceeds to drop dead.
  • @Vivi_Pook
imagine being someone with, like, a visible disability, or a missing limb, or a facial deformity or something, and you're just minding your business when someone runs up to you, points right at it, screams "THAT'S ANOMALOUS!!!" and sprints in the opposite direction.
  • @norresnotlost
mark doing an accidental jumpscare by doing the posters one at a time is hilarious to me
  • @skeletonmelon
Mark giving a stranger the longest nickname gotta be my favourite part
  • @syboe
Mark convincing himself that the game is bugged whenever it does something TOO weird is absolutely the funniest thing

Hey there, I love this game! It's a fun take on anomaly hunting. I'm going to try and flag up the anomalies that Mark misses, but it's difficult because he may not show it on video depending on where he's looking. - 2:46 - the eyes on the poster to the left has changed. - 11:58 - the posters are slowly increasing in size. This is the same anomaly he will see at 22:53 but he catches the end result of the growth there. This time it completely escapes his notice, possibly because of the "graphical glitch" he encounters. - 14:26 - the doorknob has changed position on the farthest door on the right side of the hallway - 15:10 - there is an anomaly somewhere in here but Mark doesn't see it. Unfortunately, neither do we. Mark's assumption of a "false failure" is not correct. But the way this game works, you do not need to actually recognize the anomaly to "clear" it. - 16:14 - when Mark backtracks, you can see a face on the ceiling in front of the Concourse sign. Mark was standing under it at first so we don't see it until he backtracks. He will fail to spot this anomaly again at 30:31, but backtrack and notice it at 31:43. - 20:17 - Mark mentions how it's "the one time" he doesn't look at the back of the sign... but the front is upside down too. - 34:20 - Ceiling Face is a wonderful example of how an anomaly can repeat until you successfully "escape" from it. Mark will not encounter the faceless man again but Ceiling Face is still in play. - 34:39 - what Mark notices subconsciously is a pattern in the yellow tiles on the ground about halfway down the hallway

Mark being so confident in his answers then immediately being told he's wrong by the game is honestly one of the funniest things Edit: There's only been two comments about this already, but please don't reply with anything that has to do with repenting to God, please. I don't want a war breaking out in my funny comment
  • @Kierimo
Mark being so suspicious and running from a man who’s just casually walking past him is oddly funny to me.
  • @gameflavor7278
Mark getting visibly more upset each time the sign says zero is more amusing than I anticipated
  • @WitherRage
32:47 love how mark went from "NO, NO!" to "yes, let me in, i'm going in"
