I think this video is the perfect reason of no one should build a compensator PC Because by the time the PC is built there's already newer or faster Hardware that has been released
  • If you want more expensive water, pick up deuterium oxide, a.k.a. heavy water. At $2000 per liter it's pretty pricey, but comes in high purity grades (so no minerals). It also has a higher heat capacity, so it actually improves the cooling.
  • @Wunba
If you wanna get the most expensive water just go to the movie theatre 😂
  • I know Ugreen is the sponsor now, but I love my Jackery Explorer 1000. I'm a full-time paramedic student and I needed it to power my Starlink and tablet while working on a pipeline in the rockies. I also loved being able to continuously charge it with solar so I wouldn't have to idle my work for hours or bring it in every night to charge.
  • @azzerator
12 bottles of Gerolsteiner cost around 9 Euros in Germany. Totally overpriced in Canada, it seems xD
  • @descendency
I love how this video is basically "you shouldn't buy any of this."
  • @comesignotus9888
You should've been using La Veuve Cliquot or, better, some 50-year old whisky for the cooling system. It would easily double your price and make the system even slower, hotter and less serviceable - mission accomplished!
  • @Hemmerschmidt
The part list I made recently is going to run me about $3,000 including tax and shipping, and I thought that was REALLY excessive. Then I came across this mess and now I feel a little better about what I'm gonna do to my wallet in the future.
  • @Chesternut007
I want a compensator revisited video. Where all the old compensators are tested and see how they hold up to modern day.
  • For the next Compensator build you should build two systems: one "most expensive" like this one and one no holes barred "most performance" and compare them, just to really drive home the point that more expensive doesn't mean better (not that it wasn't obvious already).
  • @ChairmanMeow1
That case is the most insane part to me. That thing is a monster.
  • @acmogi6975
The Water they used in the Video is a German Brand called "Gerolsteiner". In Germany its known for having way to much carbonation and tasting weird, despite beeing medium expensive here in Germany.
  • I never thought I'd hear of a mouse that literally causes a CPU to actually think a little bit if you max out the polling rate. I love it.
  • @Thon_Mayo
Since this is now the 4th compensator, would be cool to make all four compensator pc compete against each other! How performance have change since the first one, how much depreciation happen, out of all that money spent for peak performance how much you lost over the years! That’d be a fun watch 👍
  • @svenanon1146
I've never had an LLT video suddenly feel like an acid trip turning bad before, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. That outro man.
  • @SilverSpade_
FINALLY!! Thank you for making this, I was waiting for Compensator 4 for so long
  • @mattb54
Would love to see you build a second PC which includes the best performing kit and compare to the compensator
  • @harchom
you should used heavy water (D2O) for cooling. it cost way more, and have better thermal capacity than regular water
  • Is it weird that out of all the mind blowing tech in this video. The milled LTT screwdriver was the most unattainable 🤔
  • @fen4554
All those hoses and fittings, makes it look like 80's anime technology.
