Last year i started to become a clockmaker and the more i see Steve working on movements like these the more i see the years of experience and dedication. Once again he did a wonderful job.

My husband and I just adore Steve and Suzie, and the ENTIRE crew of Repair Shop. ...so sad Pennsylvania and England are so far apart.

Beautiful French clock. I have rebuilt a bunch of those myself. We used a special clock cleaning solution, in an ultrasound machine, that had metal brighteners in it and the metal would come out clean and shiny and bright. And we used bronze bushings instead of brass cuz they lasted longer. I very much enjoyed restoring people's family heirlooms when I saw the joy it brought to them when they came to pick them up.
  • An absolutely incredible programme, such admiration for everyone, so many gifted and talented folk who genuinely treasure items being brought for repair. Totally fascinated with restoration of paintings, leather work, porcelain...the list goes on x thank you everyone for sharing such qualities with everyone xx
