[The Diplomat] Ep.67 - Ambassador of India to S. Korea, Sripriya Ranganathan

On this week's "The Diplomat," we'll meet Sripriya Ranganathan, the Ambassador of India to South Korea, who was appointed to the post last year. We'll find out more about Indian traditional music, dance, food etc. as well as Sarang - The Festival of India in Korea, which the Ambassador has been working hard to organize.
Sarang - The Festival of India in Korea will be held from October to November in major Korean cities such as Seoul, Incheon, Busan, Kimhae, Daegu, Gwangju, Buyeo, Chuncheon etc. The festival will host various events on music, films, foods etc. to help Koreans better understand Indian culture and sentiment while boosting bilateral exchange.
이번 주 "The Diplomat"에서는 한국에 부임한 지 1년째 되는 스리프리야 란가나탄 주한 인도 대사가 심혈을 기울여 준비하는 "사랑 인도 문화축제(Sarang - The Festival of lndia in Korea)"와 인도 전통 음식, 춤, 음악 등 인도 전통문화에 대해 알아본다.
10월 2일부터 10월 8일까지 개최하는 "사랑 인도 문화축제"는 서울, 인천, 부산, 김해, 대구, 광주, 부여, 춘천 등 대한민국 주요 도시에서 음악축제, 영화축제, 음식축제 등 다양한 이벤트들이 열려 한국인들이 인도의 문화와 정서에 대해 깊이 이해하고 양국 교류의 장이 될 것이다.
