Really really excellent draft/team breakdown. I listen to them all but this particular podcast you both brought the heat! Thank you and Who Dey!!

Mims had 808 college snaps. He gave up 0 sacks, 0 hits, 5 pressures. An NFL season is around 1100 snaps.
  • @NathanDean79
Woa guys. Kobie Turner was known as a run stopper at Wake Forest and he had 2 sacks his last year there. He had 9 sack this year. I can see a similar path for Jenkins. He has the Quicks he ran 4.9 at 300 lbs.
  • @NathanDean79
Kobie Turner was 24 last year when the Tans got him. He is 25 now. We are lucky because Jenkins and Jackson were both true seniors so they are both 22. Jackson turns 23 in lat December right after Xmas and the other turns 23 in November I think.

Lee could start center this year move karras to guard which he has played put volson on bench for depth that is definitely a possibility
  • @NathanDean79
They had a 5th round grade on Matt Lee guys. He has played 4 straight years of Football. Was 2nd team All ACC.

You don’t think Mims is athletic enough to compete at LG? I dunno, I think he could push Volsen for sure. That said, I think the plan is to have him get reps at both tackle spots and not put too much on his plate right off the bat.
  • @NathanDean79
Man I so wish the had drafted the center from Arkansas Beaux Limmer. That dude is big athletic And extremely strong. 39 Reps on the press and saw a video where he was squatting 720 lbs. Matt Lee was My second choice though. Lee will eventually next year sometime be our starting center. Maybe next year they do extend Karras and move him to left guard and then Lee is up at center. Trey Hill will at best be on the practice squad this year.

I like Maklinlly Jackson. A lot. He is who I was hoping they picked at 97. He was the second best nose tackle this year unless you count Murphy as one then Jackson would be 3rd.
  • @NathanDean79
This is BJ Bills last year. Next year it will be Jenkins, Rankins, Jackson, Carter, and they will Draft someone else next year. Preferably in round 1.
  • @NathanDean79
DJ Reader was a 5th round pick not a 4th. And DJ Readers RAS score coming out was 2.01. Jacksons is 3.98. This is typical pretty much all Nose tackles has low RAS unless you are Dexter Lawrence who did some stuff but not the broad jump the 3 cone or the 20 yard shuttle.

Notice every contravercisl question was asked by Kelsey 😂 shes a real drama queen! TMZ is in her future for sure
  • @NathanDean79
Next year WR 3 win be Iosivas or Charlie Jones. They are both dam good. Or Trent Irwin

I think Mckinlley Jackson is goin to surprise a lot of people. And Kris Jenkins can rush the passer and I think he will prove that this year. At Wake Forest Kobie Turner was know a a pass rusher just a smaller nose tackle who was great against the run. He had 2 sacks his last year at Wake. Yea Turner had 9 sacks this year. Kris Jenkkns is the 2nd best run defender in the country and had 2.5 sacks his senior year. I think when he gets going he is going to have at least 6 sacks this year because he will be splitting time with Sheldon Rankins. I think Jenkins becomes much better rushing the passer than he was in college.
  • @natej84
I hope we bring in a vet CB. Bc we're one CTB injury away from Turner and Dax as the two oitside corners. Thats not great
  • @NathanDean79
No Jackson is 6’2’’ about an inch shorter than Reader is and Jackson is 325-330 lbs.
  • @NathanDean79
I didn’t like the Wisconsin center that much. I wish they had gotten Besux Limmer in round 6 but the Rams got him. Oh and in round 4 Cade Stover from ohio State was still on the board. Probably would have gotten him. He reminds me of a Drew Sample who can run good routes and can catch a little Better. Sample can catch but he excels jn blocking. Stover looked Like a good TE2 who Could grow into a 1
  • @NathanDean79
Jenkins weighs 300 pounds. Oh excuse me 299 lbs.
