    Drew Brees was why I became a saints fan in 2006, I used to be a chargers fan lol, they’re still my favorite AFC team tho

    I miss Deuce McAllister he was such a beast . He carried the team on his back and was the offense before the Brees era began

    The season before we won the super bowl, we led the league that year in injuries as well and lost 6 games by 5 or less points. The ‘08 team could’ve easily went 11-5/12-4

    The fact Brees wasn't MVP/1st team All-Pro in 2008 and 2009 seasons grinds my gears. He was definitely the best QB back then, even better than Manning.

    This was my first ever live NFL game and boy was it a scorcher! Still the best game of the entire NFL International series ever played and despite the Chargers losing I left the stadium knowing I had just witnessed something special! Thank you to both Drew Brees and Philip Rivers for keeping us all on the edge of our seats right to the very last play!
