One of the timeless pieces that makes me so proud to have grown up in the 80’s.
  • My father recently passed away back in august, this was his absolute favorite song and for the past couple of months, I couldn’t bring myself to listen to this song without sobbing. He used to sit and play this on his guitar while singing every single lyric with such passion. Happy to say I can finally listen to this song and smile while I reminisce in the memories. I will never go a day without listening to this song now.

Just turned 67 and out on my bicycle this morning when suddenly this pops into my head and now I'm singing somebody's baby as the K's roll on. Life is sure good when the simple things connect.
  • Still remember the magic of slow dancing with my girl to this song at Homecoming in college . She's now been my wife for 38 years. The magic is still there and she looks just as beautiful today as she did that night. Love you baby, always and forever. ❤

It's 2023, one month short of 2024. Who is out there still listening to this classic 1982 hit?
  • I ❤ Jackson Browne. His songs bring back such beautiful memories of the 80s.

Im 28 and listen to this amazing jam with my dad at least once a week, sometimes more. Nothing puts a smile on my face when I look at him on the computer at his age listening to this song with a smile on his face, and seeing that he hits nostalgia and is taken back to good times he lived through. He always tells me when we listen to this type of music “you know, you grew up in the wrong generation sissy, these were good times “ and I know he’s right on that statement. Thank you, Jackson Browne, for giving us this great hit.
  • A classic never dies..this song is certainly that 💯❤️

I was 12 years old - winter 1982 going to the skating rink in NJ. Now 40 years later this song is just as wonderful. It touches your heart when it talks about having that crush on someone special. AH - they don't make music this good anymore. 40 years from now this song will still be playing..................
  • Always loved this song. First heard it on movie fast times at Ridgemont high. Sooo awesome
