I made this video for myself not expecting it to get views and I chose art that fit the song, If the artist of the image or Nintendo tells me to take this down I will. Though I hope this can stay up forever.

The background is called - Forgotten Forest - from The Last Blade 2. SNK pixel art is unmatched

The SNES DKC soundtracks were made with some kind of magic, they just don’t ever age

It's really worth listening to it over and over, so beautiful, the nostalgic feelings are killing me

I love both of these DKC2 videos you uploaded. I have them both saved to my extended ambience playlist on here 🥰

Something about the deep-toned electric croaking with the old-game style sound of the music and its calming echoey slowness hits different in a way new music just doesn't
  • The Musical Battle of 1995. If you look at what people consider the best music of all time in video games, the top two have two extremely surprising things in common. 1. Both are from games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). 2. BOTH GAMES WERE RELEASED IN 1995. Wait... what? If you were to ask people which year had the WORST music, 1995 is at or near the top of the list. In fact, 1995 tends to be at or near the top of EVERY "Worst Year for X" list... except for video games. 1995 is one of the BEST years for video games, ironically, and the music is the biggest reason. These two pieces of music has stood up for TWENTY-EIGHT YEARS, and there's no sign that either will be challenged any time soon. This is one of them. The other is Corridors of Time.
