I think when rylanor said you can't do this, he wasn't talking to fulgrim he was talking to the thousand sons for stopping him, and they realized that.

Part of what makes this scene is the thousand sons. They are spiteful, resentful bastards. But to think that even then, they can see the utter depravity of Fulgrim and say "ya know what, fuck all of us."

This one of my favorite bits of lore knowing that hurting Fulgrims pride was way worse than death for the slithering p.o.s.

The loyal members of the traitor legions have the best stories. Rylanor and Garro are two of Big E’s finest.

He was one of his first sons, he witnessed how Fulgrim once was, a noble if prideful man who EARNED his legion the name of the emperors children, a man the Ancient of Rites had thought he would die for, both in the service of the great emperor of mankind...that was what he had thought until he had been betrayed and now he sees his genefather literally almost unrecognizable if not for his voice, all those loyalist battle brothers besides him have long since died in the emperors service...all except Ancient Rylanor and in no doubt many a persons mind who reads this, delivered the screaming vengeance of his fallen comrades with a permanent scar upon Fulgrims soul.

I love how we can CLEARLY tell that Rylanor, during his talk with Vistario is regaining his memories and is CLEARLY still an absolute FORCE to be fearful of

This made me far more sad than expected. I was expecting a glorious last stand, but I just feel hollow. Rylanor deserved way better.

When I first heard the Tale of Rylanor the Ancient of Rites, it immediately became one of my favorite stories in the setting. It is, to me, the prefect encapsulation of Betrayal and Vengance in a single short story. This was very well done. I am definitely going to have to check out more of your videos.

One of the things I love most about this as a TS and Magnus fangirl other two felt Visterio's intentions and did not raised a single complain. They were until the end in agreement. Considering TS is one of the few traitor legions more or less intact make sense.

Rylanor is one of a few characters that can make me emotional. His purity, his resolve, his sheer malice is magnifigant. Your voice is just perfect.

I sadly have a brother who is akin to Fulgrim. I honestly wish he'd have learned these lessons of hubris my father tried to caution us brothers three about.

Emperors children are not my favorite of the traitor legion. But all of their loyalist characters hit just right. Saul and rylanor are such cool characters.
