Welcome to today's video on how to become a music curator in 2023. In this video, I'll be sharing tips and strategies for becoming a successful music curator

As a music curator, your main goal is to curate a playlist that is both engaging and relevant to your audience. To do this, you'll need to have a strong understanding of the music landscape, as well as an ear for new and emerging artists.

One of the best ways to discover new music is through social media, and Spotify's algorithmic playlists, attending concerts and festivals, and networking with other music curators.

Once you've found some new music that you think your audience will love, it's important to create a playlist that is both well-organized and easy to navigate. This can include organizing your playlist by genre, theme, or mood, and including descriptive titles and tags.

In addition to curating playlists, you'll also need to create engaging music content that will help build your brand and connect with your audience. This can include writing music reviews, creating music-related videos, and hosting live streamings.

Overall, becoming a successful music curator in 2023 requires a combination of creativity, passion, and hard work. But with the right approach, you can build a successful career in the music industry and connect with audiences around the world.

For this first ( and old) timer) your video was super informative, and I may give it a go.. Now that being said, Being the old F that I am, I hate what the music world has become since my days. I am sure for a lot of people its just fine and great, but mot me. I know without a doubt that I have great taste in music but I wont be promoting any of the artist because most of them are dead-LOL. There is just no way to describe to younger generation what an experience it was in the early days of FM radio. So I leave you with fitting lyrics from Steely Dan. Hey, nineteen That's 'Aetha Franklin She don't remember the Queen of Soul She thinks I'm crazy But I'm just growin' old The Cuervo Gold The fine Colombian Make tonight a wonderful thing (Say it again)

Great stuff! Is there a way to monetize the playlists?
  • Do you need 1,00 followers on Spotify to become a curator? Or 1,000 followers on other platforms?
  • What platforms can curators sign up to, I have an hiphop playlist with 7k followers

Can I still be a music curator if I don’t have a lot of followers ?

So what part of the music curator makes the most money? Would it be the playlist venues, the fee to listen to an artist song and potentially add it to the playlist? How much do earn a month from being a curator? I really like finding and sharing music and becoming a playlist curator sounds like a dope side hustle.
