As a 32 year former juvenile probation ,parole counselor with 15 years of additional supervisory responsibility, I find it quite refreshing that this judge spent the time and effort to review this offenders record so thoroughly. Also to not accept a plea bargain speaks volumes regarding his insight and independent thought regarding his decision. This judge has my respect . Well done your honor.

This man took 10 years being a probation officer while becoming a lawyer, then a prosecutor then a judge....this man knows the process and what information to look for and takes the time to do so for the better of the public and the individual.
  • Wonderful to see a judge that actually deals with cases on merit and not public opinion. Well done Sir.

The prosecutor should be ashamed of herself for her despicable plea deal offer.
