"There's no bad note, the note next to the one you think is bad, corrects the one in front."

"they thought that i just woke up one morning and had the blues and started playing the trumpet" best fucking lesson ever.

Miles just lived in his own world. The flow of the conversation is so one sided it's amazing. Such a legend
  • I'll never forget the first I saw Miles play in concert. His stage presence was incredible. One note invoked the Spirits of Charlie Parker, Dizzy, Trane, all of the legends. He could change up a player or the entire band with just a look. The man is Music Royalty.
  • His voice here is better than in other interviews.

Miles is incredibly kind and helpful to the guy interviewing him. He makes it happen. Great person.

“I make a lot of money here. I’ll always come back to Europe as long as I’m making the money” 💰 💰 💰

Undeniably a musical genius who will never be equalled. A quintessentially cool virtuoso.. RIP sir, your sounds lives on and on ♥️

Its so interesting to watch a person in their natural form...free from the normal constraints of being "hireable" . What I mean is... society tells us to be a certain way or else no one will hire you. Miles is here just being 200 percent himself completely free from those societal constraints...free to be whatever he wants to be...just a beautiful human-with all his flaws.

I really appreciate that this interview was recorded and here for everybody who loves good Jazz music to listen to. It is a treasure.
  • He was an amazing man. He took music in directions that you wouldn't think possible and his compositions were beautiful. Kind of Blue is a master piece and so many more too . We miss you Miles. ❤

Musicians live in their own world. My son being one of them.
