My first thought of Melissa not being on the other side of the video was how blessed she is to have a husband that loves cooking 😊
  • Did you know that peanut butter is kind of rare and unknown in Italy, Switzerland, Austria…My Italian friend took home a suitcase full of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. When I lived in Europe, and made a trip to The States, I brought jars of Jif back as gifts.

Who doesn’t love peanut butter. It should be part of the 4 basic food groups. Looks delicious 😋. You two are the sweetest couple. Your videos are so enjoyable because you two are so pleasant to each other. 🙏🏻

Take it up a notch, add a a peanut butter glaze. 1/4 c peanut butter melted in a saucepan, add 1 cup powdered sugar, teaspoon of vanilla, and a little bit of milk, maybe a tablespoon or two. spread over peanut butter bars. Love your recipes, my sweet tooth really appreciates you two. Thanks.

This was an easy and simple recipe for a blind cook such as myself. I was running low on white sugar so I substituted 1/2 c. brown sugar. I also added a handful of chocolate chips. YUM! Thanks for sharing.

I got this recipe off a bag of White Lily flour many, many years ago. My favorite recipe for chewy peanut butter bars. So easy to make and goes great with a cup of coffee.

Those look wonderful! I love peanut butter, and chocolate! Yum!!, Now I also can tell the love, the respect, the affection you both have for each other. That is one of the reasons I love your channel so much! I love that Tom always asks Melissa if she wants the first bite. You 2 are so wonderful to watch and listen to.
  • He cooks and bakes and then clean s up afterwards, Melissa hit the husband lottery!
  • @zullo3529
Those look great! You could also drizzle on chocolate syrup! That’s what my husband would do! Thanks Tom and Melissa 🍫🥜🧈🙏

Getting ready to make this right now for dessert. Thanks Tom and Melissa! You two are amazing together!

I always enjoy your videos no matter what you are cooking. It’s obvious you prepare and get your things together. Also you teach only recipes you know and have prepared before. So many of the YouTube cooks, lacking ideas, and desperate to turn out videos on a regular schedule, teach a recipe they are doing for the first time and have it fail on camera, then still post the video. Your genuine personality is a great asset.

I made a half batch of these bars. They are absolutely addictive! Since you mentioned the PB-chocolate connection, I added milk chocolate chips to mine. You could also add semi-sweet or PB chips. Great recipe and so easy to make with ingredients in every home.
