anyone else really like hagelins goal at the end? he speeds past subban, gains control of the puck and says "I'm not doing anything flashy, I'm just gonna glide flat-footed and steer this puck in to the net and put this game away" then you see the elation on all their faces. I'm glad he didn't do what you see happen a lot in sports like rugby, american football, etc, guys are running toward the goal line with hardly anyone near them and they either try to do something stupid like a front flip, or they spike the ball before they even break the goal line and they don't even end up scoring. Hagelin simply said "Hello hockey puck, I am a bullet train and I'll be escorting you to the back of the net, there will be no dekes, no puck-handling, I'm simply going to steer you into the goal, enjoy your journey"

If you can't score on either the breakaway, a 5 on 3, or multiple powerplays, the Cup is not yours. Pens did amazing

Rewatching almost 6 years later....literally cried for joy when Hornqvist scored in 3rd!

I’m a penguins fan, and I just realized how stupid that no goal call was.

Matt Murray has more cups than lundqvist....

That really is a beautiful trophy. Like damn. I don't know any sport that compares to it.

you can blame the refs for waving that goal off, but let's not forget how many makeup calls the Preds were given after that no-goal. If you go 0/4 on the powerplay, and don't get any penalties called on you, you can't really blame anyone but yourselves for losing.

Here after that brutal 3-1 choke. Here’s to 16 years of greatness!

Congrats on your back to back Cups pens fans! Hopefully my Caps win one eventually.. :(
  • Im from England, and my love for Ice Hockey and the Pittsburgh Pens started about 20 yrs ago when i first played NHL 95 on the Super Nintendo! From then I've been to America and seen 3 NHL games live, something i never thought i would be able to do! So today for Pens to win back to back Stanley Cups, is an incredible feeling, and it makes me think, that all this, that my love for them and the sport started all on a little games console haha

Ron Hainsey has more Stanley Cups than Alexander Ovechkin.

It's okay Nashville. We Canucks fans know what it's like to lose the deciding game in the Stanley Cup Final and be shutout at the same time. Feels bad.
  • As a Penguins fan, I come back to watch this everytime I have a chance.

Think Murry deserved MVP that was a unbeatable display by Murry. Pekka Rinne has been awesome too. Congratulations Pens
