  • The 1973 Ike Dollar was only available in a mint set. I love them too. As kids we spent them at the general store, got you a bottle of coke and a candy bar and got change back.

I have accumulated a large variety of coins and US dollars from working in the banking industry. Is it necessary to get them graded in order to make any money selling them? It seems to cost quite a bit to get them graded. I have a lot of uncirculated denominations of bills and coins. All years from the early 1900s to current date. It would cost me a home equity loan to get them graded by PCGS. Any ideas? I want to start selling some of them and needed some direction. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!!🙏🏽

The 53 Philly Washington was gorgeous. I'm kicking myself for missing out on that one.
  • This video just got to my push notifications. Five days late but better late than never!! 😉

Where are these being sold or auctioned?
  • 6:59 I am suprised pcgs gave this coin at 67+. There is a big hit on lincons head and another one on the C in cent on the reverse. bunch of rim hits.
  • I happen to get to lucky with scoring a flawless 1943s Washington quarter. I would grade at an ms68 on the high end no less than a 67/67+. If I could send you a photo I would. It's going to pcgs this week to get slabbed and certified. Fingers crossed in on track with my grading.

The 1952 D Jefferson Nickel graded MS 67FS appears to have a strong RPM. ....am I wrong?

This eposide has removed all doubt that if I just have every coin in my collection deemed "grade-worthy", actually graded by NGC, my net worth would increase from 6- to 7-figures w/ a crooked number in front. Does this make me happy? Of course. But, it also makes me sad in a way.

WOW I have a 2010 D 1C UNION SHIELD LYNDALL BASS NGC MS 67 RD never thought it would go for that much just wow

Hey Shaun👋🏻. Maniacal is such a wicked sounding word, and I loved your use of it!

I have over several hundred Ike dollars of varying years. Some of them are very pristine. I have never had anything graded by anyone or appraised. Who-how would I go about doing this?
  • I think I may need to submit my Ikes for grading because I have many in my collection that appear to be way better than that 1973 MS66+ in the video. As always, thanks for the information Shaun.
  • Im baffled; every FS Jefferson Nickel I see shown here or on eBay are all head scratcher‘s because I’m not seeing it, I guess a bird in the hand is always better than two in the bush!
