- How do you feel about participating in the "Sanullim 50th Anniversary Remake Project"? JaYoung: I thought Sanullim was a band that I’d only heard about and existed on streaming/music sites. I felt so honored and a little pressure. When we filmed the music video, our senior appeared... At that time, he gave me so much encouragement that I gained a lot of confidence, but at the same time, I thought I should work harder in the future. Arem: They were my parents' idols… I can brag about it to my parents ^^ I think that one of the best ways for generations to interact with other generations is through music. It was a really special experience where I could feel the beautiful and sorrowful era of my mom and my dad's youth. YoungEun: I was so excited because of Kim Chang-hoon's recommendation… It's like a song that was passed through oral tradition from person to person, it’s so good, so I worked really hard under a lot of pressure. Iree: They are legends that I've heard about since I was young, so I thought they were people who were in a different league and far from me. It doesn’t feel real, but I felt so grateful that they asked us to be part of it. I begged them for “Reminiscence.” I was so happy that they gave us permission, but… at first I regretted it right away. I was so worried about whether we could handle this song… but we finished it after a lot of ups and downs… It's so fun but also painful. HyunJung: The other members said everything I wanted to say… When we filmed the music video I was surprised when he said, "I always wanted to do this!" I got goosebumps all over my body… They’re still there. - What did you focus on the most while working on "Reminiscence"? YoungEun (Drum / Tinkie Winkie - Purple Hair): I wanted to project the color of Rolling Quartz while keeping the feel of the original song alive. JaYoung (Vocal / Blonde Hair): I tried to express the feeling of the lyrics. I'm not singing with just one emotion. I tried hard to express it in a different way. Arem (Bass / Black & Red Hair): I tried to reflect the bass feeling of the original song as faithfully as possible. HYUNJUNG (Guitar / Blue & Blonde Hair): I wanted to play it very differently while including the nuances of the original song. Iree (Guitar / Red Hair): I liked the bass point of the original song, so I discussed with Arem how to manage it during the guitar solo and made space for the bass line to live. I thought the original guitar solo was actually part of the vocal, so I tried to mix my emotions while making the melody line of the original song.

I've no idea the original song or the artist, but what they have done seems to truly convey the spirit of the song itself, as well as introduce it to new audiences all over the world. Soon they will evolve, and become international superstar and I hope many rock anthem will be born and written by Rolling Quartz.

South Korean Artists are just on another-level.. absolutely superb. The emotion in this song even brought a tear to my eye, just like a really well made South Korean drama. Loved it. And thank you. 🇬🇧

This is how you make a song that is already great to be even better. This band, in just a few weeks since i discovered them, restored my hope for the future regarding music. This is nothing less than a super group in the making. I am floored. Diadem forever.

Jayoung's voice is such a perfect fit for songs like this, her vocal range can fully shine here. Beautiful song ❤❤❤ I hope we will hear this during the next concerts aswell 🤞

와 지기네!! 60대 젊은할배가 들어도 사운드가 쿨하고 정말좋습니다 ..tv방송에 트롯 고마하고 이런밴드 좀 보여줘라 나이들어 늙어갈수록 락이나 파워풀한 음악을들어야 싱싱한 기운을 받는다..커버곡인데 편곡도 잘했고 코러스부분에 터지는맛이 제대로입니다 좋은활동기대합니다❤❤❤

와…미쳤네…🥹 명곡은 아무리 가공을 해도 그 흔적이 남는 법인데 이건 그 흔적을 더 진하게 각인시킨 것 같은 깊은 감동이 남네요… 현정님의 피아노 위의 기타연주가 절정인가 싶었는데 김창훈님이 등장하면서 울컥한 감정이 모든 것을 담아버렸습니다. 말그대로 ’회상‘이었습니다. 멋진 작품 감사드립니다…👏👏👏👏👏

what can I say.....I grew up with the original song from 산울림....RQ revived it so amazingly.....All I can say is 'thank you RQ'.
