I went to the NEC this morning (Tuesday) and thoroughly enjoyed it. For me the stand out bikes were the RE's. What a great range of machines at very affordable prices. No wonder they sell so many. Other manufacturers that caught my eye were Indian, BMW for their R18 range and of course the all new GS, and Lambretta with some eye-catching scooters....

ยฃ28k for an MV Augusta ADV bike,ยฃ23k for a normal spec GS1300,ยฃ20k for a Ducati ADV bike...motorcycling just left the Working Class

Still a decent show but it's getting pricey (ยฃ17 to park if you don't pre-book) and a lot smaller than pre-Covid. BMW excellent presence thought Indian put in a great effort while there were loads of electrics. Thought Norton stand was disappointing as I really want them to do well. Where were Harley?

this show is now an overpriced joke far better to pay a bit more and go to eicma and see the reamaing 3/4 of the worlds bikes that are not on show here
