Gregory has to at least know that Burntrap exists because you have to explain the comic
  • I think he brainwashed the blob to stop attacking him and just left the gameđź’€

Im leaning towards the theory that burntrap was glitchtraps (a mimic program, but not the same entity as endo mimic) attempt at a body, whether it was finished enough for the burntrap ending or not- likely using what was left of William and possibly his agony/remnant(given the eyes). Princess quest vs burntrap ending being canon still depends on if greg beat the arcades or if Cassie's dad did.

Burntrap had to have been real, because how else would Gregory had drawn a comic page for the Burntrap ending.

Good guess, but Burntrap's room tells us something different. Burntrap's room was purple in Security Breach, because it was there, but in RUIN it is orange, with the only purple thing being a ventilation duct. And on that vent there is a mark of a 5-fingered right hand, which probably belongs to Burntrap. So, he could have escaped, been in rubble, or been absorbed by The Blob. Just because The Blob has absorbed him doesn't mean he's replacing his head with his. It could simply be inside his body like the rest of the parts and cables. Possibly Afton was so weakened that he has been trapped in Tangle until he can obtain a higher level of agony.

Freddy can't be in the ruin DLC, because he have prototype text on feet. In the gameplay when freddy is "ill" and lays in roxy raceway he don't have that text

He was eaten by the Tangle and was forced to revert back to Glitchtrap

It’s literally confirmed he exists BASICALLY considering…HW2 I think the Blob took him assuming he’s not the Mimic Also c’mon Burntrap+Blob=THE AGONY That would be cool
  • I think it’s possible that he’s in the room where we’re supposed to face Burntrap. Looking at the vent that Monty used to get to us in the Final Boss fight, we see a purple glow at the end. Given Afton barely has anything left of him, he doesn’t have a body anymore. Just bits and pieces of the Springbonnie suit and his organic matter. Cassidy was the reason why he’s survived everything, and his signature catchphrase is, “I always come back”. It’s hard to say exactly, but seeing that The Blob exists, there’s no doubt that Burntrap does. I doubt he’s the mimic, but Burntrap isn’t the canon name as the Character Encyclopedia states, so that could be a giveaway to if Burntrap is The Mimic. Either way, we don’t really know? 🤔

He was leaked, along with all the epicness of the ending with him. It's simple.

Actually, the glamrock Freddy in ruin was not the actual one
  • @alastor-yw7og
A interesting theory but to still be honest at this point i don't look at the lore in a deeper meaning anymore cause the game's lore just wants to be whatever it wants to be at this point And i wouod agree burntraps lack of involvement is probably due to the game being rushed for whatever reason it was
  • @bleeep3064
I hope burntrap mimic is canon bc it’ll be way more messy if william game back in SB in a non-canon ending, and dipped in ruin, + why would SW being afton back for a non-canon ending💀
  • @kellyross9499
I think he's still alive Because he always come back But I do support the ideaThat He is in that thing Whatever Oh the charging Station
