What you are seeing is a set of 15 Christmas tree lights connected to a set of solid-state relays, controlled by an embedded computer. 😎

The commands are being fed to the computer over the network using a WebSocket connection. I have developed a VST plugin that can be used with compatible DAWs (I use Cubase) to create the light sequences.

I hope to write a blog series a bit later describing the setup and I'll post a link here when that's complete.
