I am so happy with how this turned out!
Hollow Knight has always held a special place in my heart, and this is the least I could do to show my appreciation for the game.

There are things I would have changed if I had the chance, like including scenes with midwife, or showcasing the city of tears cut-scene.

  • It's so sweet to see the Knight being remembered... Wonderfully done, especially when it comes to getting emotions across!
  • 'Born of god and Beast. A will unbreaking, a mind immune, a voice commanding. You will maintain the barrier between our lands and those beyond. You are the Sentinel. The Gendered Child.'
  • 1:29 It looks like Mato, who considered the knight to be like a child to him, is really sad while Oro is just standing there like β€œI barely even knew this thing”

Omg the last frame killed me 🫣😭😭😭😭πŸ₯Ί

I love everything about this. The song choice, the way Hornet interacts with her various mother figures, her badassery in saving Ghost and helping them during the fight against The Hollow Knight, and making sure they're remembered. The animation is pretty smooth and the story telling is amazing, I look forward to seeing more content from you!
  • This literally explained my entire headcanon of hornet in one and a half minutes. Kinda crazy ngl.

Oh my gosh I love this so so much! Going straight in my favourites! The animation is gorgeous, I love how you explore the relationship between hornet and her parental figures and siblings! yama is also one of my favourite music artists so I love that you used this song too! πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’™

These words, this animation β€” pure masterpiece.

I really liked this! The idea of Hornet finding Ghost both a symbol of hope and a reminder of sorrows is really cool. Making a statue to immortalise Ghost not as a sacrifice, but as a hero was very nice and the characters' sad faces really make an effect on you. So many shots of this go hard, my favorite being the glimpse of the void in Ghost's eyes. Only thing that bothered me though is seeing Myla alive and uninfected. It's not that I hate her, it's the opposite of that. But I think reviving her is a bit too hopeful and removes some of the meaningfulness her arc had. Other than that, this is one of the greatest animations I've seen!

Wonderful job!! I love the fact that it explores the concept that Hornet was raised by three queens, apart from that, let me tell you that your animations look very clean and quality, keep it up, I'm a fan of your art πŸ˜πŸ’•
  • @CitruKori
This is proof that hollow knight NEEDS an anime
  • @pokehearts121
Oh my gosh it’s amazing!!!!! And Myla is alive at the end too!!! The music and animation was so good too! 😍😍😍
  • @THExRISER
1:29 If the Hollow Knight themselves are implied to survive after the infection is defeated, then I guess the same thing can be said for Myla.
  • @Rayneworld
Oohhh this is so good! This has like, all the little details of HK that aren't commonly addressed that I love. I love the Hornet raised by 3 mothers plot. And I have such heartbreaking/heartwarming feelings about: How the last time the Knight came out of the Abyss, the last thing they saw was Hollow leaving them to die. And the very next time they exist the Abyss, Hornet is there. Just... my fucking heart has feelings about that specifically.
  • @MC_CN
I like how The Knight is holding the dreamnail in it's memorial statue!
  • @franksonatra
this is so amazing, my heart 😭 the animation is so fluid and full of feelings too. love her 3 mother queens, love the sibling relationships, and the ending πŸ₯Ί

Very well done. This is the second Hollow Knight animation that I've watched in the last 15 minutes. I almost cried. Telling Hornet's story is a great idea, and you did it very well.
