those fish broke off because the hook in their jig head is a little ro big/stiff. requires more like 12-15 flouro. for clear water they should make the jig head with a light wire so you can use 8lb and not break off

Killer bait. Talk about a killer, putting that lead weight in your mouth is also a killer. Try dipping it it your scent, kill two birds with one stone, excuse the pun.
