For North America, the voltage for regular home sockets has been 120V since the 1950's. Naturally, all modern homes in North America are 240V @ 60hz on a split phase system so that small things run on 120V and large appliances run on 220V.

I can't get over how brilliant people in wheelchairs are catered for on board. A lot of land based companies should take note! I had to attend our local police station....to view some photos!......no access if someone was in a wheelchair as too many stairs. ❤

We chose that kind of cabin for our Transatlantic with Celebrity Apex in October. Usually we do not spend a lot for the cabin - mostly take an inside or an oceanview since balcony cabins nowadays cost a fortune! Want to try this one out - looks very promising. As you said, for "heat destinations" like the caribbean it might not be the best choice, but we think an October crossing should be perfect for a try. (For the b2b in the caribbean following the repo we invested in a balcony)
