I look forward to watching this soon once the baby has fallen asleep. I stayed here with my husband 14 years ago for my 21st birthday. It was luxury to us back then because we had only stayed in Travelodges before that ๐Ÿ˜…

As a Lancashire boy born and bred I spent a good few summers in Blackpool with my parents and siblings. I've never stayed at the Imperial, but I have friends who have and thoroughly enjoyed their time there.

Love a bit of old school Walk With Me on our blighty beach fronts. Great video, thanks Tim ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ™‚๐ŸŒŠ

Er, yes, I have had a Corby trouser press for some years and would not be without it! As you know, these period hotels are very much my style and this one, despite its adverse aspects (and as you mentioned, the upkeep of these establishments must be horrendous) is really great. I was shocked(!) at the price, but in a good way. For that suite (including breakfast) in August seemed very reasonable. Well done on the sponsorship, a very useful plug adaptor.

This video is very interesting. For any archaeologist, historian or restaurateur, the hotel is a true gem. When you see the images you are transported to the past at times and that feeling of being immersed in a moment in the history of the United Kingdom is undoubtedly exciting. Hopefully it will be preserved for many more years. Wonderful video Mr. Tim.๐Ÿ‘

That hotel is amazing. Such rich history, and it was great of the manager to show you where the secret tunnel could have been.

Ooo thank you Tim my favourite Blackpool hotel for many years. From when my Grandmother first took me in 1959 we always stayed there up till ten years ago. The sea view rooms were always my favourite. I may not return because of health issues but would not stay anywhere else in Blackpool having a soft spot for the place. I always found room service second to none and the staff were always helpful. Thank you the update, a shame that things often deteriorate after take overs, but I find I can look past many of the issues seeing the history of the place. My last visit was to see an Alan Bennet play at the Grand Theatre with the Hotel seamlessly arranging door to door taxis for us. As someone with disabilities it was greatly appreciated. Such consideration being more important than the odd carpet stain etc. Nice one Tim.

So happy to see a video going back to where Walk with me Tim started! Tbh I'm pretty over the super luxe most expensive ones you've been doing lately...that market is saturated. Great video!

I'm American and have never been to the UK beyond 8 hours in London. I've always wanted to go to Blackpool, Brighton, etc. but the English people I follow always say they're not worth the hype... I think whether they're up to their former glory or not, they're worth visiting just for the vibes and the history as seen here!! Great video Tim!!

Sleeping on an mattress with the sweat of Winston Churchill must be quite the experience.๐Ÿ˜„

  • Thanks for showing us around . While I appreciate the history of the hotel and the beautiful bars , I canโ€™t say Iโ€™d be tempted to stay .
  • @benbradshaw1054
Great video, many thanks. I much prefer vlogs like this at places I could realistically visit, rather than hotels I would never go to. Thanks again.
