Classic Game Room HD reviews HANG ON for the Sega Master System! From Yu Suzuki, creator of Out Run and Shenmue (and many other excellent Sega arcade games) comes this amazing motorcycle racing game where you drive through numerous environments against other bikers in a race to the finish! This arcade racer makes a fantastic appearance on one of the early pack-in games for the Sega Master System. I have 2 versions of Hang On, one with Safari Hunt and one with Astro Warrior! Hang on is brought over the master system with clear, smooth and excellent gameplay and visuals. If you like auto racing games like OutRun, Forza and Gran Turismo 5 then you should give Hang On a spin. It is dirt cheap today and tons of fun, you race to checkpoints and earn points just like the old school games at the arcades. CGRHD brings you Hang On gameplay and footage in this Sega review of their awesome and popular motorcycle race game. CGR reviews Sega Master System games because CGR is a Sega Master System reviewer reviewing arcade classics like HANG ON by Yu Suzuki for the SMS.

I can’t believe that this video shows up in my home feed after this many years, of course I will watch. I do miss Classic Game Room and CGRUndertow though. Kind of reminds me of watching the old ScrewAttack.

Oh man.   We got a Sega Master System from a yard sale in like 1992ish.  We only had 5 games and this was one of them.  It was hard to find anything else for it back then as the Genesis was out.  I spent hours playing this, but couldn't remember the name of it until now.  Awesome.

The sound effects, when you pass another motorcycle, bring back fond memories. This was my very first video game...built into my Sega Master System, along with Safari Hunt. Even title music brings back memories!
  • @DarkMProductions
This is the very first video game I ever played. Good times, good times.

Me and my boy Dave were the only kids with a Sega, everybody else had Nintendo. But this game was badass! My mom still remembers it, for some reason. I think I finally finished this one AND Out Run.
  • @egotram

Sega was our first game system! Always better than Nintendo!

this was the very first game system i ever owned and the very first game i ever played on my own home console. its been decades but if i remember correctly, my hang on and safari hunt were actually built into the system itself, there was no cartridge. watching your show makes me wanna build a time machine sometimes, but thanks for the memories, another great episode as usual.

Aaah my first game ever (in a home console). My 7 year old mind was blown by the "congratulations" message. I actually thought I had beaten the game.
