My theory- king boo the main antagonist. Wario and Waluigi as side characters. They could start off commiting crime and start off as antagonists to Mario Luigi peach toad and donkey Kong but than King boo invades and traps Wario and waluigi in paintings and then king boo could brainwash the mushroom kingdom and have a ghost army. Wario and waluigi end up redeeeming themselves and team up with Mario and friends to stop king boo.

Fawful would be epic! And Bowser Jr and the Koopalings should've been in the first movie, as Bowser's son and niece/nephews respectively. They could've helped Bowser with his plan to take over the Mushroom Kingdom along with Kamek.

I could see Jr being in the movie trying break Bowser free. But the question is who will be the right VA to voice him?

I would like to see Wario and Waluigi in the Mario movie sequel, like, what if there would be a "replacement" for Kamek, and instead of Kamek its Ashley.

I think they should build up to a team up movie where Count Bleck and his minions are the villains. One of his minions (O’Chunks) is driven by honor and could make for a more sympathetic villain, while another of his minions (Mimi) is a shapeshifter, and she could sow distrust among the heroes, who know that any moment, their closest friends could turn out to be Mimi in disguise. Maybe make it turn out in the Mario sequel out that the mushroom kingdom was stolen from the ghosts centuries ago, and King Boo could be the main antagonist, trying to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom to rebuild the ghost kingdom to its former glory, and when they fail and King Boo dies, the remaining ghosts join Count Bleck, who promises to give them the Mushroom Kingdom if he wins.

I hope dimentio is in the next Mario movie

I think Bowser Jr. would make the most sense for the second movie if they're gonna keep a consistent Yoshi theme, so Wario and Waluigi should be the villains in the third movie
