the way i didn’t know Lupin III was from the 70s 😱 it became a staple here in PH in the 90s.. and Cha-La Head Cha-La is such an iconic OST.. this is such a trip down memory lane..

Thank you for the reaction! I’ve been living in Japan for more than half of my life and I’ll always be a huge anime/manga fan! So for me, it was Mr. Satan:)
  • @andreschion2334
I always knew him as Mr. Satan (mostly because i grew up with the spanish dub. Sidenote... I can't believe DNA was from 1994

Wow….there are sooo many good anime out there. Don’t even know where to start, lol. Some of them have already been mentioned in the thread, but I’ll see if I can come up with some fairly unknown but cool ones (making sure they have subtitles)
  • Anime openings are insane... that and Ghibli have had so much influence on me 🤣✨️
  • @mankichiro9432
I always had Mr. Satan cuz I watched and read it in German and there it is Mr. Satan :)
  • @Sakeh13
In Brazil his name was Mister Satan, in English, but they also called him "Senhor Satan"
  • I remember my dad renting a "new" technology. A VCR. And he and I would watch the 1978 Captain Herlock.

It's crazy to me that Saint Seiya was never popular in america but it's popular everywhere else, only bc the english dub sucked lol.
  • @aldinvidal4308
7:32 here in the philippines, he is called Master Pogi (Master Handsome in English LMAO)
  • Oh the nostalgia from seeing these! We had Candy Candy as VHS. And songs! I have been fan of Orange Range since I was teenager :D

Man I love Cobra. If you ever watch total recall, yeah cobra begin like that too but he's a legendary space pirate with a gun for his hand and plus a hot robot wifu not an agent on mar.

Kimagure Orange Road has one of my favorite soundtracks in anime. It is definitely worth listening to.
  • I love how every time a new song comes in he says “Yes!” Then says “I love (artist name)” 😂😂

There is a MASSIVE load of classic, ancient anime I am missing out on. I'm just so hyped and enjoying contemporary releases, it's hard to imagine the same level of animation or story telling back in the day. This was a really epic video, though.

Great stuff! TKs First Take lives in my head and will always be the best version to me. Love the Oral Cigarettes song, and yeah Kickback is soooo good, Kenshi and Eve some of my favorites! Cheers for more anime music!

7:57 Babymetal did a great cover of the theme song for the first Evangelion film: Tamashii no Rufuran (sometimes called Tamashii No Refrain or Soul's Refrain). It's actually one of my favourite Su-Metal solos.

Can't believe Dragon Ball Z is a year older than me... childhood memories watching this every day when we (my brother and I got back from school...) we hat a tv channel called RTL two and there were all the animes in the 90s One of my favourites still is Wolf's Rain and the song "Stray"
  • @Asmaria22
