We often overlook human frailties present in someone who makes such a difference in the way we perceive life. I miss her terribly, both as a person and as the ultimate songstress. I learned of her work early on in her career thanks to a stroke of luck. I haven't been so completely excited by a singer or band since the days of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. As I approach my 70th year, I don't feel like there will ever be someone to compare.

When she sings "Back to Black", notice how her focus is straight and cold, it's as if she plays the events that led to write the song right in front of her, she re-lives every moment, anytime she sings that songs. She always sings the song different than the last, she is contemplating. No wonder she was in so much pain. 💕 pray that she's in peace....
