That price is so high, you might even call it... X-Torch-ionate.
  • I do not know why 1:20 made me stop the video and laugh. The Bailey reveal caught me off guard.

I used to have a crank flashlight like you showed. I loved that thing. It was the best when I would be hiking and camping at night. Never needed to worry, always had light. A few cranks and the light would be good for a while.
  • You should do a top 10 of the best flashlights not the cheapest but the best.
  • The added cost is for the lithium iron phosphate battery. This battery technology is so much better than lithium ion except for the cost. They weigh about a third of the Li batteries, but cost more. There are several other advantages to the battery if you look into it. You have a cheap flashlight with a great battery.
  • Still after all this time still my fave reviewer, unlike other reviewers you have stayed you and stuck to your usual style of video, if ever come to London give me a shout.👍
  • Another awesome review, always nice to see Bailey as well.

Great content James! That being said, $55+ tax for that piece of junk?! I mean come on…I honestly can’t imagine someone wud pay roughly $60 for that. (Not including for reviews of course. Lol) the light isn’t bright at all…who’s going to use that to charge their phone battery? They have battery packs for much cheaper and do a better job. What’s the point of the ice demonstration anyway? I doubt anyone wud take that POS up K2 so.. 😂 the cherry on top is the $25 charity scam! I’ll choose what charities I donate to tyvm. Thanks for the great reviews!!
  • For $56 I can get a phone charging bank as well as a couple of highly-rated flashlights. If he price were more reasonable I might consider it.
  • Just got power back after being in central florida for Ian, and what's the first thing I see when I turn on youtube? A flashlight review. It's almost like you knew.
  • The other thing increasing cost is that LiFe battery, plus it will hold it's charge better/longer than LiPo or other Li Ion batteries do. Also 48 hours of light? I wanted to see that tested.

I bought the Aurora mini flashlight for my keychain for cheap off Amazon. One you reviewed. Love it, lights up my entire backyard like no other flashlight I've used. Great for my finding my Landroid robot lawn mower in the middle of the night, or investigating why the dog started barking at 1am.
  • It would be interesting for you to compare some actual good "enthusiast" flashlight versus the "main stream" ones. Some good brands you could pick from are Lumintop, Wurkkos, or Sofirn. I suppose Thrunite is good though.

I have a flashlight I bought a decade ago that is almost exactly like that like minus the newer battery technology. It wasn't a great flashlight. Funny to see that same overall design still being used.
  • Hey 👋🏻 James love watching your videos 👍🏻 BUT I TRULY LOVE THE T-SHIRT YOUR WEARING👍🏻👍🏻

The best flashlight I own isn't super bright, and doesn't last ridiculously long, but it's basically a lamp. I'm sure it'sa chinese OEM that licenses it out, but it's a flashlight that unfolds like an accordion, and has a hand crank for charging its battery alongside USB charging. It has the ability to charge up phones in an emergency as well, but the thing is that it has 360 degree light, and can hang from its handle. Early this year the power went out for 21 hours, and the days are extremely short where I live. It served its function perfectly, and it lit up every room I would hang it in. I don't think the accordion design can really be beaten simply because of the area it lights up.
