"So that's pretty c-- ...interesting." What an endearing, adorable presenter.

You are an absolute legend. I was so so daunted to try digital art because it looked so difficult, but you broke it all down so well, now I'm just psyched to get started! Thanks so much, man
  • Your English is easily understandable, don’t apologize for your accent! Helps me to stay keyed in, some people drone on in these tutorials and put me to sleep. Great job by the way I learned a lot!

I am 28 minutes into this video, and I cannot believe how good this tutorial is. You are knowledgeable, good at explaining and funny. I am going really slow as I am taking notes and practicing what I am learning, but I just wanted to let you know that this is one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. Congratulations on such an excellent work!
  • @treeberri231
Never apologize for your accent. The fact that you give this amount of content free of charge out of a desire to teach is commendable in itself, and I am grateful you've done so. I'm barely in and can tell you know your stuff :)
  • Wow. Never in my life had I seen such a complete tutorial. It really helped me get a grip on the basic concepts of Krita, as well as some of the more complicated ones. Thank you so much; I can't wait to start using both my drawing tablet and Krita properly after seeing this video.
  • About half a year into digital art now, and this is the video that got me started! I've commented before, but I'm just returning to thank you again!
  • @kimr45
This isn't a tutorial, it's more like a complete course, packed with amazing info!
  • your accent is lovely and your english is as good as it gets i really appreciate your taking the time to make this and sharing your knowledge thank you :)
  • @scarlett156
I had just installed Krita and was looking for a quick tutorial. When I saw this one I was like "YIKES! It's 3 hours long!" But I started watching in bits and pieces and I'm really glad that I did. I was using Autodesk for a long time and my drawings/paintings were just so amateurish that I gave up. I decided to try again and so watched this. I'm grateful for this and made a lot of notes. Thank you!
  • Great tutorial! I’m a complete beginner to digital art and this is perfect. Your explanations are very understandable. I’m one hour in and I keep pausing to practice why you’re talking about. Thank you so much for making and sharing this video. You are very generous 😊
  • As someone who tries to learn on my own instead of going to school for this stuff this really is the OG Krita tutorial, i cant describe, how much i have learned here
  • @wonderboy4107
No need to apologize for your accident bro, your very clear and this tutorial was easy to understand. Your very thorough and helpful.
  • I've been using krita for years and never learned I could do half the keyboard shortcuts shown here. Absolutely lovely tutorial, I learned lots!
  • very nice; thank you for sharing your knowledge (please don't apologise for your accent; i've been speaking english, and nothing else, for 60+ years, and at no point did i have any problem at all understanding what you were saying; greetings from UK)
