Don’t let the keyboard prospectors and armchair miners get you down Dan. Just forget about what they say. They are a small percentage. The majority of us REALLY enjoy every video and I encourage everyone to tell Dan how cool this channel is and tell him how much we appreciate it. I have wanted someone to do a video on this for a long time. I can't wait to see what you show us...just starting now. I have always figured gold pans could have magnets in the back of the pan to pull back the ferrous stuff while panning

When I got my first pan, the first thing I did was add two small powerful magnets to the inside and out of the bottom of my pan. I would pan both the ferrous and non ferrous. Worked like a charm using some of Dan Hurd's cool panning techniques. Not with the ease of this new separator though. cool!!
