When an airbus was hijacked on July 4th 1976, Operation Entebbe was put into place resulting in one of the most stunning hostage rescue missions of all time. Would you call the operation a success taking into account the aftermath with the retaliation of Uganda over Kenians? Or should they have used different diplomatic approach?

Don't negotiate with terrorists, try diplomacy, but seeing as the military operation was literally hours before the deadline, obviously diplomacy wasn't working, so they clearly did the right thing

The air crew, the soldiers and those Doctors and Nurses that tried to protect the old lady from the soldiers and were killed, all so brave.

R.I.P Yonnie (Yonaton Netenyahu) your sacrifice will be remembered. I'm happy that the Infographics Show made a video on this, seen the movie and read the book (Warning: Don't watch the movie if you don't like gore) and this video really did justice to Operation Thunderbolt/Entebbe.

the most outrageous fact is that some countries protested against the actions of Israel, which was trying to save its citizens, but said NOTHING about the actions of hijackers, who took hostages and hijacked the plane. And the level of anti-israeli agenda in the world now is still quite disturbing. I stand with Israel in this case.
