The SOLUTION to Smash Bros' MOST EXPECTED newcomer

My favorite comment on PJiggle's original video is the one listing like 10 unused ink colors.

i really love the idea of making the other octos fighters (acht and marina). they should do that for inklings also, callie and marie promoted from assist trophy to playable would be cool 🦑

Octolings may work in Smash, but I honestly can't see them as much more than echo fighters to Inklings...

They can also add textures to the octoling colors like the textures in the side order ink, with the little designs in the ink

I think all of these are great ideas

I think it would be incredibly cool if when selecting your octo/ inkling, you only pick based on hair and then you can scan an amiibo with a saved fit to get that outfit and weapon.

Basically that PJiggles video summarized: "What were they THINKING?!"

I think it will be an eight costume for sideorder and octoexpansion then gear and customization based on the promotional characters like inkling. And inkling will also take the splatoon 2, 3 and maybe 4 promotional characters with maybe a moveset with more weapons and mecanics from the newer games like dualies or squid roll for the roll, brellas for sheild, splatanas for aerials or fsmash, the bow for nair and the old weapons having their splat 3 and (or 4) redesign. As for "its hard to tell them apart" there's cloud and sephiroth in the game. Edit : pikachu, pichu and JIGGLYPUFF look basically the same with their alt.

I would just think they’d all use the same ink color since all the enemy Octolings all use the same color. This differentiates them a bit from the Inklings gameplay wise because Octolings wouldn’t get tripped up by other Octoling’s ink, unlike Inklings, who can affect each other with their ink. This is probably better, though.

Or alternatively, cut inklings from the roster entirely.
