I’ve always loved how the mythbusters worked so well together despite not really liking each other. I think they did really respect each other and their respective bodies of work. The fact they got such good onscreen chemistry working in spite of things is why we ended up with such a good show

The myth busters fell apart because Adam didn't want to work with a sexist, classist, slightly racist, toxic human who treated co workers like crap. Jamie was a piece of work to but it lightly.

Adam and Jamie weren’t friends, but Adam was friends with Grant and most likely still is with Tory. They’ve both appeared on his YouTube channel a few times. Kari killed the show by demanding more than even Adam and Jamie got paid so there’s not much there besides the occasional charity event
