Bought some gas today and the pump kicked off at 51.50 ! I thought "I need to listen to that!" So yeah, just finished up. Took me right back to good times back in the day. Thanks for the memories.

Once a fanatic; always a fan. REST IN PEACE ,Eddie

This is one of about five albums in the history of rock and roll that I can listen to straight through and enjoy every minute of it!
-
I was lucky enough to see them live in 1986, promoting this album. Loverboy opened up for them. I was a junior in high school. Still think about that concert to this day.

Love every song on this album....an absolute rock classic!

I'm so glad I got to grow up through the 80's...

Let's see, 1986, 5150, look what the cat dragged in, Puppets, peace sells.., Slippery When Wet, who made Who, Reign in Blood, what a year!! No matter what kinda rock you liked, glam, hard rock, thrash, or even Something like Genesis with Invisible Touch, music was truly peaking in the mid 80's. God, we who were teenagers, and loved music couldn't have picked a better time to be alive!!! Listened to most of these albums hundreds of times, sitting in my room, with head phones on, playing my Nintendo for hours on end!!!

The opening riff to Hot Summer Nights is absolutely KILLER!

I love this, Sammy brought a different view to Van Halen

I remember standing outside the record store in my neighborhood, in line, waiting to buy this on its release day. I was 15 years old. My best friend Frank and I both bought the LP and the cassette. I remember a lot of anticipation for this album. I considered it an instant classic, upon first listen. I'm 52 now and still enjoy it. My buddy Frank and I used to spend quite a bit of time together, just absorbing good music. Those were the days!
