  • I'm a big Metallica fan and I don't really know Megadeth songs, but after listening to this I must admit that their riffs are really godly
  • Tornado of Souls might be the best riff ever dreamt of. But it's also pretty awesome that he snuck Kick The Chair in there.

the winner is the people who listen to both and don't battle.

Dave Mustaine is the king of riffs and he never stopped.

Both bands will always be in my heart from my 80's

I prefer to listen to Metallica but anyone can see that Megadeth's riffs are more complex and creative

I’ll go with Megadeth, just cause when he started playing Tornado of Souls, I turned off the video and went listen to that song and ended up listening to the whole Rust in Peace album, such a monster record.
  • Very nice video! I'm thankful to James and Dave take different paths,. Now we have two great metal icons!!!

I love the amount of detail you put in this video, even down to matching the actual guitar tones from each song respectively.

Should’ve had it end with both of them playing four horsemen/ mechanic with a confused face

Metallica is a great band, and a great way for new people to get in to metal music. Then hit them with Megadeth when they’re ready for the real deal. Rust in Peace is arguably the greatest metal album of all times.
