Don’t stay away too long Phil, I personally wouldn’t mind watching a video of you clearing the gym or a video of the gardener cutting the grass, just take care of yourself ok?
  • @Wiccanglen
Phil, no one should leave nasty comments. That's truly abysmal. Take care of yourself, and don't let the nutters get to you.

You made a wise choice to get someone to help you with the garden. At least you know they will come on nice days for working outside.

Single, older gal.. Now 70. Several years ago, my truck had a problem about 9 miles from home. I lived at the bottom of a forestry mountain pass and was broken down at the last, very small, town. No bus. No taxi. Nothing. And after dark. Could have called friends. But didn’t want to disturb during family dinner time. Called police who informed me they were not a taxi service. So, what to do? Pizza place. Still open. And I knew they did deliveries up the mountain. Told them the situation. I’ll order the pizza for delivery if you take me with you. He did and was great! Gave hm a nice tip. So grateful. Learning to live outside of city conveniences. Priceless life skills!

You should film it anyway, just edit it down and overlay some appropriate music. It's kinda asmr. I'm virtually alone, also. I locked myself in the chicken run on a 10° F. morning and couldn't get out. Nobody to help, I finally got down on my back and kicked the run door apart. There was no way that they didn't hear me yelling in this valley, but nobody came. I was whistling so loud it would burst an eardrum. Stay safe and keep on keepin' on.
  • I 100% agree with having someone come in to assist and you getting projects done while they are around... Decades ago, we made a 'house rule' that my husband isn't allowed to climb ladders and/or use the chainsaw without someone around... this was made after he did do that and ended up at the hospital.

Oh, Phil. Your description of disaster after disaster brought me to tears of laughter. As they say, stuff happens. So glad you're planning a safety net when you're working about the place.

I think someone to help with the gardening is a great idea.

Whatever you film is interesting because you're interesting. You think we're watching for the chateau but we're actually here for you; your generous soul, your warm smile, your capable hands, your humility, your introspection, your many talents, your can-do attitude, your willingness to try, your love of beauty, and all of your projects and adventures. We're glad to know of you and pray for your success and well-being. God bless you, Phil!

I live with someone who wouldn't know if I was trapped under a car for at least 3 hours because it means coming out of the house and checking on me. Glad your getting some help as no matter how much we try to do it ourselves we sometimes just need another's help.

Glad you’re getting some help and looking after your health. Never take it for granted.🏃‍♂️🏋️💪 Take care!
  • Getting some help in the garden again is a good idea. You used to have someone to work in the garden a couple of years ago. It will be good company as well as getting stuff done quicker. The rethink is a wise move. 😀

Phil, my idea is for you to sell or scrap all of the old bits and get yourself at least one machine that actually works 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
