Welcome to "Settlers 101," your ultimate guide to mastering the Path of Exile 3.25 League mechanic! In this video, we dive into Kingsmarch, a crucial hub town in the Settlers of Kalguur League. Access Kingsmarch immediately upon entering Lioneye's Watch in Act 1 by talking to Johan, the King's Hand.

You'll meet essential NPCs like Johan, Raulf, Sonja, Dannig, Tujen, Rog, Isla, and Faustus, each offering unique services to help you manage resources and progress through the game. Learn to recruit workers with specific skills through Raulf, collect and refine ores with specialized miners and smelters, grow valuable crops like Wheat and Corn with your farmers, and convert items into Thaumaturgic Dust through disenchanting. Shipping resources is key to gaining valuable rewards, though you'll need to navigate the risks involved.

Discover the various services available in Kingsmarch, including gambling for high-quality items in the Black Market, enhancing weapons with Kalguuran runes at Dannig's Runesmithing Table, and combining items for powerful upgrades with Isla's Recombinator. Use the Currency Exchange Market to trade currency and fragments, and assign Atlas Runners to clear maps for you using the Kalguuran Map Device.

this mechanic has a lot of potential in making it to the core game

A big thing you missed on Shipments is that what you receive is dependent on what you ship. So if you ship crimson ore, you will receive armor, but if you send another type you'll get weapons. If you send certain crops you'll get jewelry etc. Also when it comes to the bonus number, if you send the max on the bonus number of that item, you will receive a unique item.
  • Each bar is worth 5 ore. So if a port wants 250 ore you can fulfill that by sending 50 bars.

Perfect. Very thorough and not long winded. Thank you for this

Using ores give you armour and weapons. Shipping crops gives you currency
  • I'm really waiting for a video that goes over how to maximize loot with your shipments. I've yet to find a video that discusses that. Hopefully soon. All I've seen so far is conflicting information. I was told previously the higher risk the higher the reward, but from what you are saying, risk doesn't have any effect on reward?

i don't even taking any risk. i try this and on one run i have even that food shortage event happen and i lose all food item. all value of food go to 0. or ship get damage and lose half of shipment value. and for pirate boss. if you are not boss killing build just forget it you just lose 50k gold or all your crew and shipment. i rather ship small shipment with 0 risk

GGG still can't fix the game for some players and have never gotten in yet on the 3rd day. Really messed up. Can't even try this build. Heck can't even get into Standard.

I saw discussion online regarding the shipping rewards. Apparently, the rewards are dependent on both the shipments you send out and the location you send them to. I am unsure of the specifics, but I think it's definitely something you should consider including in your full guide.
