Emove Cruiser S ride from Union Station to Harvard Gulch Park

On the way to my very first PEV (personal electric vehicle) group ride, I had a plan A, B, C & D. Missing my second train put me into plan B, using up some 14 miles of battery to actually get to the gathering; not something I wanted to do just before my first group ride. The decision being made, I mapped the park we were to meet at and headed out through downtown Denver. Had I known I was going so far across multiple townships from my original starting point, I may have just turned around and gone home. As it was, this was my scooter ride from the train stations downtown to a park about two cities away. Much, if not all of this trip, was travel I have done many many times in a box truck for work but had never actually looked at anything or enjoyed the journey. It was nice to see Washington Park for once at a slower speed, mixed in with the people instead of avoiding them with a truck. Today was the first time I've mounted my JBL Charge 5 to the handlebars and let the music play freely.
Pretty sure this video is going to get me some copyright strikes...

I filmed quite a bit of the group ride before the camera batteries died but I do not have the permission from the other riders to post their likenesses on social media so I'm holding onto that footage.

To conclude my plans I began to explain at the beginning, Plan A was to catch two trains almost all the way to our group starting point, Harvard Gulch Park, enjoying the group ride and then catching the same two trains back home, leaving me likely half my battery life. Plan B was if I missed one of my two trains on the way there, calculating how much of my scooter's battery I could salvage to make the group ride. Plan C was missing one of my two trains on the way there and the return trip home, barely limping back home in first gear under 10 mph. Plan D was Plan C but the scooter didn't make it home and I'd have to call my roommate to come pick me up so as not to push my scooter six miles home.
Plan D ended up being my day, I missed the same train twice. :-/

To be honest, I kinda had more fun on my solo ride to them so I'm sharing this. Enjoy and be safe out there!

Though I highly suggest you get the GO 3S while I only have a GO 3, if you're even looking at this model of camera. If you're looking to make a professional riding vlog, I suggest you go with the X series, the X4 does incredible ride videos but I just couldn't justify the price for my needs. I buy things in increments, starting cheap to see if my project ideas work and then slowly upgrading as time and money allows to create a more professional output.

The camera is simply mounted onto the brim of my helmet using its included camera clip and further secured with small Velcro straps. Pretty sure the clip is made to secure to the brim of a baseball cap for vlogging but I'm barrelling down bumpy sidewalks and roads at up to 31 mph so I used some Velcro to make me feel better that it'll stay on.

I’m glad you were paying attention that it wasn’t a trail! But a cool ending point … btw, this is some chill music to scooter to.
