I recently return my apartment after 8 years of rent , cero damages, nail holes filled, clean and not a single piece of trash. I didn’t even have a deposit but it’s a matter of civility and respect.

So the tenant had 24K saved and was still employed, yet she refused to pay. What kind of selfish, greedy, craziness is that? Then on top of refusing to pay, you destroy the woman’s property. Like completely destroy her property.

She needs to take her to court and garnish her pay checks or future tax returns and report this abuse to credit bureaus.

For a very long time, landlords have been portrayed negatively and surprisingly most individuals believe it. They have no ideas what it takes to be landlords and no ideas about their pain.

They need to have a list that exposes all of these rents with names, pictures of the tenant, pictures and videos of the damage etc.

The person who did that should be ashamed of herself. That shows their character. Absolutely shameful.

Can't these landlord go after these tenants as for criminal vandalism to their property? I felt bad for these landlords.

That's a very nice house. Those kinds of houses should be rented to trustworthy, hardworking, clean people. I feel bad for the owner.
  • That's so sad. I haven't missed a pmt even though we lost a good job. When we get ready to move ( we've been here 4 years ) we will paint, steam clean carpets and varnish the faded wood. Our landlord lives across the street and we have become more like family. There's no reason for this

And here I am keeping my apartment spotless and can barely catch a break when looking for a place
  • @JailGuide
This is one big reason to have your renter get renters insurance with a personal liability attachment
  • @b.l.8611
I’d go after them. Bad credit is terrible for a renter- especially one so terrible.

This exactly why it is absolutely irritating when people tell me to get in this business. It’s too much of a freaking headache.

This crap happens often as I never understood the mentality of a tenant that lives in someone else's home for upwards of a few months to a year completely free of charge and then they throw more salt in the wound by destroying the property on the way out. What the hell is wrong with people? Just walk away you have no financial gain in destroying someone else's house.
  • @EddieStarr
What we need to do is create a SHAME website that contains their information so the public can see who they are
  • Expect more of the same. Instead of treating their home as a true blessing. They show their envy sloth and jealous nature in their actions. Been there walked away from that.

So if a tenant or ex tenant destroys someone’s property they can’t be held accountable? What type of crap is that. I was fixing to paint my garage floor just because of an oil stain but meanwhile people are allowed to cause $7000 in damage and get away with it? Thats BS.
