I suffer with Fibromyalgia, and that triggered off Peripheral Neuropathy. My feet burn šŸ”„terrible with pins & needles pain. Plus I'm soo sensitive to any pain. If I knock my feet I just wanna screem or die for the pain...Dam why must things like that happen to us. šŸ˜Ŗ. I'm a very positive person. I try hard to ignore the pain but it's not that easy. I do get relief from putting my feet into warm to hot water. I'm a woman of 76 but I still get on top of my roof to fix any leaks. My husband died 22 years ago. So I never give up. Be positive and don't give up. May God bless you all that are suffering šŸ™

When this came up on my YT feed I almost passed it by due to mental overload. I'm glad I watched it. You gave me great information I hadn't heard elsewhere and a bit more hope that I can continue to better manage the pain. Liked and subscribed. Thanks!
  • I had botulism and was paralyzed for nearly 3 months. It took that long before my neurons started firing so I could learn how to walk, talk, do everything again! While much of my lingering problem is in the mass of my central nervous system in my back, I have major issues with my feet. When my body started popping awake my feet would feel like they caught on fire, they would be swollen and have bright red striations over my whole feet. It would burn for some 5-8 minutes and thatā€™s a long time on Fire. Then it would stop and just be swollen . This went on for maybe 6 months. Now they donā€™t burn they just have bursts of pain and swelling. I like how you give us solutions to these issues, thank you very much. Iā€™m going to try these exercises and see if they help at all. Right now at night I end up lathering my neck, back, hips, ankles and feet, knees, wrists and backs of my hands with muscle rub and put a heating pad on the worst part of the night, I take my gabapentin and anti inflammatories, and methadone just to try to pass out because itā€™s the only time I donā€™t hurt for just a little while if I can get a little sleep. Iā€™m going to try the exercises, and fix part of me. Thank you thank you thank you! And I will follow your channel I appreciate your honest opinions, all Dr.ā€™s should strive to be so helping

I'm 62 and been working on my feet nonstop for over 40 years. The best thing for my screaming pain? Stretching and working on the feet. Rubbing, messaging, rolling. That's works the best for me. Thanks Doc.

Wow I have these exact issues for years. I am in constant pain whenever I walk or stand to long. 4 years I had reconstruction surgery on my ankle and leg muscle because it got so bad I could hardly walk. Since the operation I now have other issues with my foot, ankle and leg. I get unbearable shooting pain on the heels of both feet. I am in constant pain. Years ago I had a streptococcus C infection my leg and I had to be hospitalised for 8 days and my leg and ankle issues started from then šŸ¤” I went to yoga classes once a week for 8 years to try ease the discomfort and pain. The yoga help a little.

I am 64 years. I try to avoid medicines. Stretches & simple exercises you recommended are doable. These may bring friutfull results. Thank you Doctor.
  • @akeleven
Thanks for exercises. Wearing compression socks for years but have to slit them over the top of the ball of the foot to prevent that Morton's neuroma pain. Lost 40 pounds and much of pain is gone. Wearing sandals with arch support and metatarsal support helps with Morton's neuroma and bunion. The more of the video, the more I realize how many of these factors I've already adopted. Just need to get with the exercise.

Thank you for a very helpful and though video. We will be using your advice and info to keep him as independent as much as we can. Currently my hubby is getting NCS and EMG for MOTOR NEURON for gait & mobility with falling issues along with progressive worsing right side and now left side showing issues. Ruled out stroke and did blood work. Low on B12, otherwise nothing conclusive. So far though, its leaning toward PN, but not all of the parts of the tests are done yet. Also showing signs of finger and hand dysfunction.

Knowing that there are so many reasons your feet will hurt and that at least half of them fully apply to my condition or partially allows me to take the best care of my feet. I'm 61 and spent my life running and jumping, I needed this so important presentation. Thank you. Keep on maintaining those who need it well informed. Health to all !
  • @lydiashaw9959
Thank you so much for this information. I am in my 60s & I think itā€™s due to aging. It started out on left, now itā€™s both feet. Burning & numbness at night & now during the day also. No pain at all. I have had MRIs, preparing for injection. I have been to Podiatrist, Neurologist & Neurosurgeon. Your video has given me more insight than all of them . I plan to try these exercises tonight.
  • @krissygrl45
i happened upon your video I can relate to everything you talked about. Its funny cuz' you answered all the problem nerve pain questions i have had or wondered about for the past 20 years or so. Thank you for reminding me how important it is to find the source of nerve pain. I just wanted to say how programmed people are to buy over the counter pain reliever. I never thought about the position of my foot and stretching those nerves at my ankle and then walking all day.
  • @christinegreen3133
Working as a server and bartender for 25 years and playing roller derby in my 30's and 40's for 8 years has worn my body excessively. I find myself with herniated discs and all the nerve issues, ankle sprains and Scoliosis that goes with that. I enjoyed and liked your video. subscribed for more good news!
  • @christiankelley4145
It took me YEARS to figure all of these things out for myself, it's extremely nice to have this video to help keep me on track šŸ™Œ
  • @nikhilrao1401
Fantastic advice , for many misconceptions we generally mistake every foot pain as neuritis or nerve end pain like that even not knowing biomechanics pains. Thank u very much for your great talk.
