Christopher Reeve made kids born after 1975 believe superman really existed,he was born to play the part.Henry Cavill is closer than anybody since in appearance but the way reeve was able to completely change personalitys back and forth between goofy Clark and his charisma and seriousness as superman was incredible acting.

Christopher Reeve was a talented, Julliard trained actor that emitted that honest, decent, do-the-right-thing vibe that fit Superman perfectly. He also was just a big guy naturally. He wasn't all puffed up like a bodybuilder. And his face looked exactly like it was right out of the comics. That movie was huge when it hit in 1978.

Tom wellings portrayal of young Clark was great smallville was amazing one of my favorite superhero shows
-
Christopher Reeve will ALWAYS be the most iconic quintessential Superman, hands down! George Reeves was the Superman of my childhood, but knowing now that he really didn't want the role is saddening for me.
-
Christopher Reeve had magic, charisma and created a legend of his character
-
Brandon Routh was great, Henry Cavil was fantastic, Tom Welling was brilliant but Christopher Reeve will forever be awesome as the Man of Steel.
-
Of all those mentioned (without detracting from the others), Christopher Reeves was the only one who was born to perform this exceptional character, since he had that great charisma, with which he managed to win the hearts of all those who enjoyed his great talent. R.I.P. Christopher Reeves ❤

Christopher Reeve will forever be Superman in our hearts. But John Haymes Newton, Dean Cain and Tom Welling exploded our television sets during my teen-age and 20s years. Brandon Routh, is the first Superman I have watched inside a movie house and Henry Cavill is the present modern Superman. Love from the Philippines!

Christopher Reeve had a signature Superman smile. He is my Superman then and now even though..... RIP my hero.
-
Christopher Reeve looks like he was straight out of the original comics. He has a super perfect jawline.
-
Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Christopher Reeve will always be my favourite. Let's also take a moment to appreciate Dean Cain for some other childhood memories.
-
My favourite is Christopher Reeve for me he's the best R. I .P. Superman ❤️
-
There will never be another Superman like Christopher Reeve, he will be missed....... R.I.P.
-
Christopher Reeve the BEST Superman ever. When I think in superman I always see Christopher Reeve's face. My second favourite is Henry Cavil.
-
All these years I thought the original Superman was Christopher Reeve. My ideal Superman! We miss you Superman!
-
Christopher Reeve, Brandon Routh & Henry Cavill are my 3 favorite Supermen of all time! We need a multiverse film with the 3 of them (Christopher via CGI)! 🥰
-
The Christopher Reeves theme music with the combination of Christopher Reeves smiling at camera seriously give me more chills than anything just brilliant
-
Christopher Reeve was by far the best. He looks like he would have been from another planet. The man was stunning!
