CORRECTION I just learned yesterday that all these years I've been wrong, my old elementary school didn't have a 2001 system, instead it was a super early 4002 system!

That sucks that a cool system gets replaced. I knew a building full of White Mechanical 4903s but got replaced in 2013 with P2Rs and SRs. It was way too late to get anything from there since I didn’t know about that system until 2021. I have heard a private collector got one of the 4903s form the pool

It always hurts when vintage system gets replaced especially in your schools . Your school had the most iconic fire appliances of the 80’s

I remember when I was in Summer school (elementary school days) they had Simplex 4903 Horizontal strobe plates with 2901-9838 horns mounted on them which were set to continuous.

I forgot to mention the school didn't have System Sensor i3 smoke detectors, it had Simplex 2098-9636 detectors, but my panel doesn't support two wire so I couldn't use them
