  • Just used this produce and it is excellent!! i first used the wax seal that came with the toilet and it was not staying on the underside of the bowl when i went to lift the bowl to install, then finally i did it and put everything back together and a leak occurred... Went and bought the perfect seal, one try , flushed many times yesterday to test and no leak, checked this morning no leaking, THANK YOU PERFECT SEAL!!!

Just used it. Worked like a charm on my 3 toilets. Awesome product!

Used perfect seal this past weekend on an old flange that was cracked and all ready have a repair plate attached to it. Worked out pretty good as the metal repair plate was not level to begin with so knowing that it extruded into all the gaps should provide a better seal over time. The only thing I did not like about this product was the small black insert, I could not tell if it was sealed with that in there. So I took it out as the directions said. But once i put the toilet back down, I really couldn’t tell if I had a good seal or not. I’ve used the danco hydro seal for a broken flange on another toilet and that one you could tell that it seals and gives a good suction sound.
  • I've used this product in the past and they are Fantastic...❤ Just pulled up a toilet for tiling and it looks Great after a couple year's with No Wax Mess...👍

This is an AWESOME product. I used this on a toilet in my home and it is legit. The best part of it is that if you don’t have the toilet in the right position, you can reposition it without worrying about the seal. I would recommend this product to anyone.
  • What hold the bolts is a couple of plastic washers that come with any ring

I don't know why the Danco representative didn't mention the ABS flanged collar inside the grey gasket. The use of an auger shouldn't damage the gasket because it would touch the collar instead of gasket. The collar is what pushes the wax down against the drain when pressed down by the toilet. It's really an ingenious design. The perfect seal is not a wax substitute. You're still using a wax ring. All it is is essentially a wax cap or cover if you will to make the job easier and cleaner while also adding an extra gasket layer for a better deal.

Will a drain auger breake the plastic??
  • My flange is above my tiles . I accidentally installed the blue piece along with it . Will I have flooding issues later down the road ?

They didn’t say anything about removing the black inner plastic ring if the Toilet doesn’t sit flush to the floor.
  • It's the 2nd best toilet ring. The no wax ring is the best hands down
  • Look at the small diameter opening in the wax side? Looks like prone to clogging.
  • Two big dislikes. My flange is flush with my floor so I didn't use the blue adapter as per the instructions. My toilet rocked side to side so I removed the toilet to take out the black insert (also as per the instructions) and was shocked to see how much paper thin wax was pushed downward beyond the horn & ready to go down the drain. I'm glad I saw it in time. -- By the way, the rocking continued after removing the black insert. Perfect Seal was about an 1/8 inch too tall for my flush to the floor flange & my 2019 Toto toilet # C454CUFG. I went back to a regular wax ring and the toilet sat flush on the floor.

Do these work if the flange isn’t level
  • I buy the seal work perfect ...I have a flenge a lot above the floor I take out the black rigid part inside and fit very well here in Canada it is 17.95$ + tax but it still a must
  • I just use plastic straws on top of the bolts for leverage and less back breaking
