4:59 Boom. 5:46 Boom. Probably a positive strike. 7:20 Boom. 9:14 Clearly visible positive strike. 10:07 Possible positive strike behind the tree. 11:25 Possible positive strike behind the tree. Video is remarkable. Easy to see why it was labeled the perfect storm. Most of us won't see one so filled with normally uncommon lightning.

Coastal California here. We never ever get storms like this. Frankly, it’s rather terrifying! Thanks for the video. Edit to add: New sub.

Wow, what an amazing lightning show! Good, calm filming, too (despite the intense, crashing thunder every now and then!)
  • Seeing this from the beginning is rather terrifying. Constant nonstop flashing, multiple colors, the near lack of thunder in the beginning due to a severe atmospheric disturbance between cloud and ground followed by increasing and nonstop loud rumbling...you know you are in for a really nasty storm. I'd hate to be out in the open, miles from home and on foot and with no viable safe shelter around with this comming right on top of me. Beautiful, but defently something to be a bit nervous about.

damn i miss these storms here. Nice video, thanks for that!
  • @TheJustinBurton
That is one of the more intense lightning shows I’ve seen.

Man the amount of Nitrogen just being pumped into the rain drops.... I'm sure grasses and trees were popping in that deep green color

Crazy active! Nice storm to videotape.
  • You know it's bad when a storm like that has so much lightning and no audible thunder. It either means it's far away enough to not hear as much or any thunder but so intense that it's lightning is bright enough to be seen as if it were closer. The other reason could be that there is so much lightning that it doesn't have enough time to make any sound. Either way that much lighting with the sound of crickets is very unsettling!

    please more longer videos!

That has to be a very intense Tstorm with that continues lightning. Was a severe thunderstorm warning issued for that storm?

What video are these comments for? 75% of screen is covered by trees and buildings...
