The first levels are deliberately "generic" looking, to lead her astray and make the surprise (9:36) even bigger.

Even though you can’t hear her, you can tell how happy she is with the game in the little things like petting the Roomba or waving her hands around.

The UX design in this needs an award. Everything was built to 'just work' and guided the user so easily without any extra explanation (I know the user is likely to have used VR before, but I feel like that wouldn't matter). The only other time I've seen that in VR is Half Life Alex. Amazing work!

I actually attended a marriage in virtual reality because the 2 people both had relatives in other countries, but they wanted to make sure everyone could attend. They walked down the aisle, kissed, put on the rings, said their vows, had to reception, took marriage photos--ALL OF IT in vr. It was honestly really cool, beautiful, and scary. I cried, and not just because my forehead hurt after the first 2 hours.

I'm a yound woman, with no sentimental interest in anybody, zero interest in a future wedding and completely stranger to who made this video. Anything is against any type of empathy I could feel watching this and... this made me cry! I felt like I was the person living this and I would have said yes in literally 0 seconds, forgetting al my theories against marriage. One of the best contents I've ever seen.
