Old guy drills to stay sharp

After turning 63 years old, this former wrestler thought it would be good to show young folks that regular martial arts training keep you fit and healthy. Chad Statten one of my former MMA fighters watches techniques being delivered under control to help him recognize techniques and react properly when moves are delivered to him. We go back and forth using each others body for controlled target to practice. I like to place the opposite foot that my opponent has forward (he has left lead so I use right lead) and circle away from his power hand and rear leg round kick. Start slow with basic jabs and sidekicks then open up with more moves. I was introduced to this 'both side' type of training by Super Dan Anderson. www.modernmartialarts.com
