2:41 If only he could have heard you say that 5 years ago 😢 The thing with Chester, the lyrics and their vocal delivery were very personal, he was in pain mentally and emotionally and the music was a release, but sadly not the cure

The 17 second scream is impressive, but as you said having the gas to hold the high note in the next measure goes unappreciated. Breathing control at it's finest.

You should check out Chester switching between screaming vocals and clean/cleaner vocals withing the same sentence/lyric on Linkin Park's performance of "Qwerty" at Tokyo Supersonic 2006!

I always find this song difficult to listen to as I think he is describing how he feels in the depths of his depression. Chilling in the light of taking one's own life.
