Hey guys!!! Join me on an unforgettable and eye-opening journey in SYRIA as I embark on a 13-day solo adventure across one of the most conflict-ridden countries in the world. This is not your typical travel vlog, as I go beyond the tourist hotspots and dive deep into the heart of Syria, experiencing the culture, the people, and the everyday life in a way that few outsiders ever have seen before.

From the ancient ruins of Aleppo to the bustling streets of Damascus and the lovely beach towns of Latakia, I capture the raw beauty and resilience of a nation torn apart by war. This is a side of Syria that you certainly won't see on the news, and it will leave you with a new perspective on the Middle East. Get ready to be moved, inspired, and maybe even a little bit scared as I take you on the trip of a lifetime.

Just out of curiosity, who is interested to visit to Syria? Or have you been before? Feel free to fire away any questions about traveling there or anything that I didn't cover in the video - and I will get back to you!

As a Syrian, I am glad that you also showed the good sites of a country where u only hear negative stuff about. For me it just felt like I was put back in my hometown and experiencing all the wonderful things u did 🎉❤

As a European it breaks my heart to see how sweet and giving these people are, sharing their homes food and culture with him. And when they lost everything and sought refuge in our countries we never gave them anything and demonised them. I'm so sorry for our lack of humanity...
  • I am from Jordan , we are the neighboring country of Syria .. Syria has been an escaping destination for us Jordanians .. most people in Jordan would spend there weekends in Syria as it’s extremely affordable and with great tourism sites and best food . Syria is a welcoming country with so many different people and backgrounds living in harmony.. the sea , the mountains and the old cities , Syria is the source of history.. we in Jordan hope Syria comes back stronger and safer than before because it has the potentials
  • My heart goes out to the Syrian people. Prayers for Syria💜💜💜🇸🇾
  • @hannahdigitals
I’ll never get over how so many civilians have to suffer as a result of decisions of a few. I hope this generation of Syrians can see their country eventually restored and healed

i’ve been interested in Syria because of my GI doctor. He was born in Syria. He basically saved my life twice, and the respect I have for him is insane

As a Syrian, I want to express my feelings and experiences in the West. It hurts so much especially after everything we have lost, when most people in the West hear you are from Syria, they keep a distance from you because the only thing they know about Syria is negativity and war! Thank you so much for showing the truth
  • @thlovesmee
Wtf. This LITERALLY made me cry. After all these people had to endure from ISIS and the West, they still are smiling more than we do. The 2 elderly men making mosaics and the mayor are such incredible stories. Thanks for sharing this!!

As a Syrian, I'm incredibly thankful for this video and all the kind comments. We need more people like you, who are willing to break the stereotypes and show the world how beautiful our country is. I hope your issue will be resolved and you will visit us again. There's a really good place that you missed which you should visit next time... that's the countryside of lattakia and specifically Mashqita. Absolutely breathtaking landscapes that you couldn't even imagine
  • @TRIPNADZOR
This is a country that has become synonymous with "pain" and "terrorists" in recent years. But is she really like that? And by the way, Syrians are so much like us. I also made a short video about Syria. I would be grateful if you would express your opinion about him.

As Italian , I am so Happy to see people restarting to live a decent life after all they lived in the past. My biggest wishes of peace to the syrian people
  • @kerryalfaro9437
As somebody whose family is from Syria. I thank you for this. Unfortunately, I only have Syrian blood in my veins in my genetics makeup, but my Aunt Afaf Atia was born in Syria as well as her brothers. She's the only girl out of 6 children. We appreciate you!!! We live in Allentown, Whitehall, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania now.

As a Syrian immigrant, I just wanted to thank you for this amazing video where you have actually spotted the light on the true reality of how beautiful the nature of people there. How amazingly old & historic every sight & street you crossed upon. This is us. This is our country. We had & still have people with different religions & ethnicities. Yet, we always managed to be simply beautiful & good loving as one. Unfortunately, in this life, sometimes things just turn out to result in a very hectic way.. It’s so sad knowing that I have lost my country.. It is so sad knowing that every destroyed street in there was once a school for children, a hospital for the sick, a shelter for the orphans, etc. It literally bring me tears when I see all of that destruction.. Especially when I know that I have had actually witnessed how beautiful Syria was & how genuine everyone was before the crisis. I really love you Drew! You are one in a billion type of human to actually go all the way, & even through danger just to shed a light on the true beauty of my country. #ReBuildSyria ❤️

I am an Israeli and I am amazed with Syrian hospitality. You really break prejudices. Everybody must watch your channel.
  • @esiotrot81
Drew, I watched this video this afternoon and I can't thank you enough. I feel like my eyes have been opened, I learned so much. I felt quite emotional afterwards. We in the West are drip red information and images of Syria which mean our perception of it is filled with war, bombs, guns, and misery. What I took from your video was hope, positivity, and joy, despite hardship. The hospitality and kindness and smiles of the Syrian people will stay with me for a long time. I really did think it was wonderful. Thank you for showing the heart of Syria to all of us. From Sarah, UK.
  • @Ganplas
Balling my eyes out. Every time I see a Syrian smile in this video it makes me so happy for them, yet also so sad. I hope I can visit soon. What an amazing country
  • @CanCan04
