With Dark Souls 3, Ashes of Aridandel, and The Ringed City all in the books we can conclude our rankings of the difficulty of the bosses in the Dark Souls Series. First I'd like to share my thoughts on the easiest and hardest Dark Souls 3 bosses, including the bosses from Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City such as Sister Friede, Darkeater Midir, and Slave Knight Gael. I'll also provide whatever tips I can as sort of a "Dark Souls 3 Boss Strategy Guide."

hardest bosses: 4-sister friede and father ariandel 3-nameless king 2-darkeater midir 1-the katana guy outside the firelink shrine.

I found the placement of Dancer being harder than Friede to be the most strange.

Abyss watcher was one of the hardest challenges for me because I didn't know there was a bonfire next to the arena...

I don't agree, for me the first Lothric Knight you encounter next to the Dragon in High wall of Lothric is the hardest boss in the game.

The most traumatizing part of a new boss fight for me is when I discover they have a 2nd or 3rd phase(after using all my estus on phase 1)😂😂

My friend tricked me into activating the Dancer boss fight by saying that the priestess drops a good item. Safe to say I was screaming when a cutscene started playing and the door started closing. Good times

Every Dark Souls comment section: "Yeah man that boss was hard lol I died like 20 times." Some guy: "Really? That boss was easy for me. I beat it in one try on my first playthrough. All you have to do is roll when it attacks. I find it so funny when people say that boss was hard. It was one of the easiest bosses in the entire series."

When it comes to the epicness of a bossfight, Slave Knight Gael takes the crown of the most epic fight (at least for me).

I beat Midir first try. However, but for the life of me, I can't take down Gravetender fast enough before the great wolf spam tackles me into oblivion. The beauty of souls bosses.

yhorms fight isn't just a easy win, it's his life's story. it's how the giants are slaves and are servants to the others because of how easy they are to "take" with just tools and how he still managed to become a ruler. so him giving up the sword willingly before he went hollow shoes how good of a giant he was. Yhorm's the Best

The first time I fought Yhorm I couldn't figure out how to activate stormruler's skill. I spent over an hour killing him with the irythill straight sword.

Everytime I watch a boss difficulty ranking of Dark Souls 3 I'm reminded of the LPer I discovered the game with. Who died 25 times to the Watchers, 20 to Champion Gundyr and 6 times to the Spears of the Church, but had Midir and Sister Friede down in something like 5 tries and then first tried Gael.

I personally think that sister friede is wayyyy harder than the dancer. I thought the dancer was generally a cake walk.

You forgot that most bosses are 80 thousand billion times harder if this is your first souls game

After coming from elden ring I have found Gael lot easier than I expected, but twin princes is still pretty hard... i just hate teleporting bosses
